- Are there New Year events and celebrations in Polzeath?Yes, Polzeath and the surrounding area usually have a lively atmosphere on New Year’s Eve. For live music and a countdown to midnight, Surfside is a popular spot to look out for, thanks to its setting directly on Polzeath Beach.
For a celebratory meal, you’ll find plenty of options nearby, including The Bear at The Point, The Mariners, Four Boys and St Enodoc. From Rock, you may also be able to see the fireworks over the Camel Estuary as they’re set off across the water in Padstow. - Where can we dine for New Year in Polzeath and Rock?There are a few options for where to eat in Polzeath, including The Bear at The Point. We’ll be open and serving our usual family-friendly menu all day and into the evening. There’s also The Atlantic, The Cracking Crab and The Oystercatcher. In nearby Rock you could choose from Four Boys, The Mariners or St Enodoc – though we’d recommend booking a table as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
