North Cornwall’s family-friendly foodie festival is back for 2026, bringing three days of live music, chef demonstrations, long-table feasts, wellness sessions and coastal adventure to the banks of the Camel Estuary.
Taking place from 23rd to 26th July at Dinham House, Rock Oyster Festival has become one of the highlights of the summer calendar. This year, the line-up includes Groove Armada, Scissor Sisters, Kool & the Gang and Sam Ryder, while chefs from across Cornwall and beyond will gather for demonstrations, tastings and festival feasts.
Here’s what we’re looking forward to most about Rock Oyster Festival 2026 – and where to stay if you’d like to be close to the action.

Where is Rock Oyster Festival?
Rock Oyster Festival takes place at Dinham House Estate in St Minver, North Cornwall, overlooking the Camel Estuary.
Despite the name, the festival isn’t held in the centre of Rock, but it is very close by. In fact, from Porthilly Beach you can often see across towards the festival site. Dinham House sits roughly between Rock and Wadebridge, making it easy to reach from our holiday homes in Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath.

Who’s playing at Rock Oyster Festival 2026?
Rock Oyster is known for its feel-good music line-up, with bands, DJs and performers taking to the stage throughout the weekend.
For 2026, Groove Armada will bring a DJ set to the festival, while Scissor Sisters, Kool & the Gang and Sam Ryder are also among the headline names. Elsewhere across the weekend, you can expect sets from the likes of Freya Ridings, The Coral, Brooke Combe and Huey Morgan.
We’re also looking forward to catching some of the smaller-stage performances. Lost in Space, a local ska band from Lostwithiel, are always a good time, while Polly Money, who grew up in Falmouth and has previously toured with The 1975, is another one to watch. Daisy Mae, one of our Sunday Sessions headliners at The Point, will also be taking to the Rock Oyster stage.

What about the chef demonstrations?
Rock Oyster began as a food festival, and its culinary line-up remains one of the biggest reasons to visit. Across the weekend, chefs host demonstrations, talks, tastings and dining experiences, with their own packed schedule alongside the music. For 2026, Raymond Blanc, Nathan Outlaw and Matt Tebbutt are among the headline names, with plenty of local talent also appearing across the festival.
Expect appearances from familiar Cornish chefs and restaurateurs, including Jack Stein, Andrew Tuck and Jude Kereama, alongside a wider programme of masterclasses, long-table banquets and festival feasts.

What type of food is on offer?
It wouldn’t be a great festival without the food. Each year, local restaurants, producers and street food traders set up across the site, serving everything from fresh oysters and seafood platters to wood-fired pizzas, loaded crumpets and sweet treats aplenty. The full food line-up is yet to be announced, but keep an eye on Rock Oyster’s Instagram for the latest updates.

Is Rock Oyster Festival suitable for children and families?
Yes – Rock Oyster is a brilliant festival for families.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with plenty to keep children entertained throughout the weekend. There are baby-friendly facilities, family areas and a packed children’s programme, including Rick Stein’s Kids Cookery School, Mischief the Mermaid, puppet shows, creative workshops and play areas.
For older children and teenagers, the mix of live music, food stalls, activities and open-air space makes it a fun and easy introduction to festival life.

What wellness sessions are available?
Alongside the music and food, Rock Oyster also offers a full wellness programme, with sessions and treatments available to book across the weekend. Expect everything from yoga and sound baths to massage treatments, wood-fired saunas and tai chi. It’s the ideal way to add a slower pace to the weekend, especially if you’re planning a full festival itinerary.
